Melissa Chivers has been an integral part of the MATS team since 2021, bringing her extensive expertise in special education and a deep commitment to student success. As a certified special education teacher, Melissa has dedicated her career to supporting students with diverse needs, particularly those with Autism and interrelated disabilities.
Currently, Melissa serves as the Clinic Coordinator (Director In Training) for the MATS Early Intervention Clinic, where she oversees the crucial program designed to support young children with Autism. Her commitment to professional growth is exceptional: she is actively preparing to sit for her board exam to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and is also pursuing a certification to become a Parent Advocate. Melissa’s passion for empowering both children and families continues to make a significant, positive impact in the field.
